Planning stress and anxiety recovery coaching for a sports club.

TRT stress and anxiety recovery coaching can be discussed alongside a club's existing welfare arrangements. This guide is for team managers, welfare leads and coaches organising a camp near Oliva or Oliva Nova. The starting point is people who need support, not a promise of better results on the pitch. A player or staff member may be living with anxiety that has nothing to do with their sport.

The service

What TRT coaching involves

TRT is structured coaching for stress and anxiety recovery. The aim is greater stability and wellbeing in everyday life—not better scores, selection or sporting technique. The work uses the Human Stability Framework.

  1. 01

    Start with your anxiety

Your coach begins with what you are experiencing, what you want to work on and any support you already have. This helps establish whether TRT coaching and the proposed format are suitable for you.

  2. 02

Learn the framework with your coach

Your coach explains the biological threat response and how attention, interpretation and behaviour can keep it active. They introduce the TRT framework and agree practical areas to work on with you.

  3. 03

Use the guided steps in everyday life

The coaching supports your use of structured materials or exercises, with questions and adjustments as part of the work. Sport may be part of your life, but your anxiety need not be caused by it.

One-to-one sessions can be arranged via Zoom, FaceTime, or in person at Oliva Nova or nearby.

TRT coaching does not provide a medical diagnosis or replace medical or psychological care. No recovery timeframe or sporting result is guaranteed.

When you get in touch

What to tell us.

Give your role, club or organisation, camp dates, group size, age range, working language and planned location. Describe the support you already have and whether you want to explore private enquiries, a group format or staff coaching. Keep the first message about the arrangement rather than named players' health details.

We'll discuss whether coaching is suitable, how we might meet and the cost before anything is agreed. We don't provide medical or psychological treatment.

01

Start with the need, not the session count

Before asking how many sessions to book, consider why you are enquiring. Is the club trying to make private support easier to access? Are staff carrying their own stress? Has a player asked for help? Those are different starting points. You can describe the general need without sending a diagnosis or assuming everyone in the squad has the same concern.

If selection pressure or competition worry is relevant, say so. If the concern is panic while travelling, intrusive thoughts or worry at home, it does not need to be reframed as a performance problem. We can discuss whether TRT coaching and an available format are appropriate.

02

Choose between private access and a group enquiry

For an individual enquiry, the person can contact us directly and discuss their circumstances with a coach. A club can make that route visible without asking players to disclose personal difficulties to a manager first. Who pays, what can be shared and any safety limits should be discussed before work is agreed.

For a proposed group format, explain the purpose, ages and number of participants. We would discuss suitability and boundaries with the organiser. Do not make personal disclosure a condition of attendance or use a group discussion to assess players for selection. No group session is confirmed simply by submitting an enquiry.

03

Keep responsibilities clear

Identify the club contact who can discuss timing, the welfare lead who handles concerns, and the person authorised to agree an arrangement. TRT coaching uses a guided framework and practical exercises for stress and anxiety recovery; it is not a replacement for your medical team, injury rehabilitation, safeguarding procedures or emergency response.

A player with new or persistent physical symptoms should seek appropriate medical assessment. A selection deadline or fixture does not determine what support is suitable. If someone needs urgent help, use the relevant healthcare and emergency routes rather than waiting for a coaching enquiry.

04

Protect privacy when a club is involved

Avoid circulating lists of players' diagnoses or asking us to report whether someone is fit to play. A club-funded arrangement does not automatically entitle the organiser to the content of a person's coaching conversations. Discuss consent, what may be shared and safety exceptions before anything starts.

Give people a discreet way to contact us and think about where they could speak without teammates listening. For under-18s, the responsible adults need to discuss consent, supervision and safeguarding first. A youth enquiry is not permission to begin coaching, and a child's personal details should not be sent through the website form.

05

Fit the enquiry around the camp schedule

Share travel and training times, rest periods and any space where a private conversation might be possible. Ask whether online coaching or an in-person arrangement near Oliva could fit your dates; do not assume that a resort room or training facility is available to us. We are independent of the resorts and cannot confirm access on their behalf.

Our services are currently offered in English. If participants need another language, raise that before planning a format; native-speaking support in other languages is coming soon, not currently available. Website translations do not mean coaching can already be delivered in those languages.

06

Agree the practical details before committing

An initial enquiry should lead to a discussion of suitability and availability, not an automatic booking. Ask what format could be appropriate, who would be involved, how privacy would work, and what the location, cost and next steps would be. Any payment or change-of-plan terms need to be explained and agreed for the actual arrangement.

If you are considering continuing support after the trip, ask whether online work could be suitable and available. Do not promise players a fixed recovery timetable, guaranteed confidentiality without safety limits, or a sporting outcome.

Start with your situation.

Use the form to share what you'd like to ask about. We'll check what is suitable and available, then explain the next step, location and cost. No particular result can be promised.
