Stress & anxiety coaching Mid-season & winter camps

Mid-season & winter camps · TRT Therapy

Stress and anxiety recovery coaching during winter camps.

We offer TRT coaching for players and staff living with stress and anxiety during a winter camp. The work focuses on anxiety recovery and everyday wellbeing, whether the concern is panic, life at home or pressure during the season. The camp is a place you are visiting—not necessarily the cause of your anxiety.

The service

What TRT coaching involves

TRT is structured coaching for stress and anxiety recovery. The aim is greater stability and wellbeing in everyday life—not better scores, selection or sporting technique. The work uses the Human Stability Framework.

  1. 01

    Start with your anxiety

Your coach begins with what you are experiencing, what you want to work on and any support you already have. This helps establish whether TRT coaching and the proposed format are suitable for you.

  2. 02

Learn the framework with your coach

Your coach explains the biological threat response and how attention, interpretation and behaviour can keep it active. They introduce the TRT framework and agree practical areas to work on with you.

  3. 03

Use the guided steps in everyday life

The coaching supports your use of structured materials or exercises, with questions and adjustments as part of the work. Sport may be part of your life, but your anxiety need not be caused by it.

One-to-one sessions can be arranged via Zoom, FaceTime, or in person at Oliva Nova or nearby.

When you get in touch

What to tell us.

If you're organising, share your travel dates, where the group will stay and the time available outside training. If you're a player or staff member, tell us whether you want to ask privately rather than through the club.

We'll discuss whether coaching is suitable, how we might meet and the cost before anything is agreed. We don't provide medical or psychological treatment.

01

When the worry is at home

A player may be away with the squad but worrying about a child, finances or a health concern. They can contact us about anxiety in their wider life without explaining it as a problem with their form.

02

When results do matter to you

If a poor run of results is part of the picture, tell us how it affects your sleep, day or conversations with others. Not every dip in form is an anxiety condition, and we don't make selection or performance decisions.

03

Give people a choice

A club can ask about a shared discussion, but personal concerns may be better raised privately. Send us your dates and existing welfare arrangements; we'd discuss timing, privacy and availability before proposing anything.

Start with your situation.

Use the form to share what you'd like to ask about. We'll check what is suitable and available, then explain the next step, location and cost. No particular result can be promised.
