Stress and anxiety coaching enquiries for youth squads.

Parents and responsible staff can enquire about TRT stress and anxiety recovery coaching for young players. Their anxiety may be unrelated to sport. Before any work with an under-18, consent, supervision and safeguarding arrangements must be agreed. This page is for adult enquiries; young people should not send personal information through this site.

The service

What TRT coaching involves

TRT is structured coaching for stress and anxiety recovery. The aim is greater stability and wellbeing in everyday life—not better scores, selection or sporting technique. The work uses the Human Stability Framework.

Under-18s can receive sessions with written parental consent. Consent and safeguarding arrangements must be agreed before a session takes place.

  1. 01

    Start with your anxiety

Your coach begins with what you are experiencing, what you want to work on and any support you already have. This helps establish whether TRT coaching and the proposed format are suitable for you.

  2. 02

Learn the framework with your coach

Your coach explains the biological threat response and how attention, interpretation and behaviour can keep it active. They introduce the TRT framework and agree practical areas to work on with you.

  3. 03

Use the guided steps in everyday life

The coaching supports your use of structured materials or exercises, with questions and adjustments as part of the work. Sport may be part of your life, but your anxiety need not be caused by it.

One-to-one sessions can be arranged via Zoom, FaceTime, or in person at Oliva Nova or nearby.

When you get in touch

What to tell us.

An adult can give the age range, trip dates, working language and the club's safeguarding contact. Please don't send a child's name, health details or personal story through the form.

We'll discuss whether coaching is suitable, how we might meet and the cost before anything is agreed. We don't provide medical or psychological treatment.

01

Start with the responsible adults

We'd need to know who is responsible for the child on the trip, who leads safeguarding, how a parent or guardian would consent, and what supervision and language support are in place. This is an initial enquiry, not approval to start sessions.

02

Choose the right kind of help

Homesickness or a problem with teammates may need a response from the adults already caring for the group. If a child is at risk or needs urgent help, use the club's safeguarding and emergency routes; coaching cannot replace them.

03

Keep the first message general

A parent, guardian or responsible staff member can share the age range, dates and a general reason for enquiring. We can discuss whether work is appropriate and what checks are required before any personal details are shared.

Start with your situation.

Use the form to share what you'd like to ask about. We'll check what is suitable and available, then explain the next step, location and cost. No particular result can be promised.
