Charles Linden — Verified Reviews & Client Outcomes
Three decades of one-to-one recovery work, an independent NHS evaluation, and an open archive of unedited client reviews. This is the consolidated picture of the work — not a marketing page.
By The Linden Centre Editorial Team · Last reviewed May 2026
Charles Linden has worked with people in anxiety recovery since 1996. In the time since, his books have sold internationally, the Linden Method has been delivered to several hundred thousand clients worldwide, and an independent evaluation of the method was conducted within an NHS Shropshire setting.
What follows is a deliberately measured page. It is here so that anyone searching for honest reviews of Charles Linden, the Linden Method, or LAR Coaching can find consolidated information in one place — including how to access the full independent review archive, how to leave a verified review, and how to read the NHS evaluation in full.
Where to read verified reviews
The largest single archive of unedited Linden Method and Charles Linden client reviews lives at lindenmethodreviews.com. It is maintained as an open log — positive and critical reviews are published as written. If you are forming an impression of the work, the archive is the single best place to start.
Independent platforms also carry reviews. We monitor Trustpilot, Google Business and Facebook reviews continuously and respond to anything that warrants a response — see our Trustpilot review summary and our complaints procedure for how that works in practice.
The NHS Shropshire independent evaluation
In addition to client reviews, the Linden Method has been the subject of an independent evaluation conducted within an NHS Shropshire setting. The data was analysed by Martin Jensen at Kingston University and the University of Copenhagen.
Using the GAD-7 generalised anxiety screening tool, the evaluation reported a pre-intervention mean of 18.28 and a post-intervention mean of 2.84 (n=61). The Wilcoxon signed-rank statistic was Z = -6.802, with p < .001 — a statistically significant reduction. The full evaluation page on this site sets out the methodology, the sample, and the limitations.
How we handle critical reviews
We do not delete unflattering reviews from our own properties, and we do not pay for review removal on third-party platforms. Where a review describes a verifiable account of dissatisfaction, the response is the same as a complaint — see the formal complaints procedure linked below. Where a review contains claims that are factually inaccurate or that constitute false statements, we follow the host platform's standard moderation process and, where appropriate, our legal team is involved.
If you have had a personal experience — positive or negative — we would always rather you tell us directly so we can put it right. Contact details are at the bottom of every page on this site.
How to leave a verified review
Verified reviews are the most valuable feedback we receive. There are three routes:
- Email your honest account to questions@thelindencentre.org — it will be added (with your permission) to the public review archive.
- Leave a Trustpilot review at trustpilot.com — Trustpilot independently verifies reviewers.
- Leave a Google review on The Linden Centre's Google Business profile — also independently verified by Google.
