Children & Young People
Anxiety in young people is
completely treatable.
LAR Coaching works just as effectively for children and young people as it does for adults — often faster. With the right support and family involvement, full recovery is not just possible. It's the expected outcome.
Why Children Respond So Well
Young nervous systems recover quickly.
Children's brains are remarkably adaptable. When anxiety is addressed at its neurological root — rather than managed with coping tools or therapy — young people often experience rapid, complete recovery.
LAR Coaching gives children and teenagers a simple, science-based understanding of what is happening in their body and mind. That understanding alone often begins to dissolve the fear. The structured recovery process does the rest.
Many of our youngest clients — some as young as seven — have achieved full, permanent freedom from anxiety disorders that had disrupted their school life, friendships, and family.

Conditions We Treat
We help children with every anxiety condition.
Including conditions others may have told you are untreatable, require years of therapy, or that your child will "grow out of".
Our Safeguarding Policy
Family involvement is central to recovery.
Children under 14
A parent or responsible adult must attend all sessions with the child and must also oversee access to all online programme materials throughout the recovery process.
This ensures the child feels safe, supported, and guided — and that the parent can reinforce the recovery process between sessions. Parents often find it deeply reassuring to understand exactly what is happening and what to do.
Required at every session
Young people aged 14–17
With written parental consent, young people aged 14 and over may attend sessions independently. A parent or guardian must provide consent before the first session.
We always encourage parents to stay involved and informed throughout the process, even where the young person attends alone. We are happy to schedule a separate call with parents to answer any questions at any stage.
Parental consent required
All sessions with under-18s are conducted in strict accordance with our safeguarding policy. Our coaches are trained to work with younger clients and their families with sensitivity, patience, and age-appropriate communication. If you have any questions about our approach to working with children, please contact us before booking.
How It Works
A calm, simple process for the whole family.
A relaxed first conversation
We begin with a gentle, confidential call — usually with parents first — to understand what's happening and answer any questions. There's no pressure, no assessment, and no labels.
Tailored sessions for your child
Sessions are adapted to the age and personality of the child, delivered by Zoom, phone, or FaceTime at a time that works around school and family life. Simple, clear, and never overwhelming.
Freedom — for everyone
Recovery changes the whole family, not just the child. As anxiety lifts, families report calmer homes, renewed confidence, and a child who is genuinely free — not just coping.
Session Delivery
Sessions from the comfort of home.
All coaching is delivered remotely — no waiting rooms, no travel, no disruption to your child's routine. Sessions take place via Zoom, Phone, or FaceTime, wherever you are in the world.
Your child doesn't have to live like this.
Recovery is not just possible — it is the expected outcome. Book a session today, or contact us with any questions about working with younger clients.
